On Friday the 2nd March, I went with a wonderful friend to an event called Burn in London. It was a 4 hour worship time with absolutely no agenda but PRAISE because He is SO worthy.
It reminded me that my only offering, that still doesn't come close to what Jesus deserves is my devoted and passionate worship. I had to post today because my heart is overwhelmed with JOY because of my DaddyGod. I needed to share with you the reason I go to China, the reason I live, my purpose, my destiny. I am in love with an unchanging, powerful, kind and faithful God, who rescued me from death and took away the darkness in me. That isn't that He will take the darkness away when I die, He won't conquer death for me when I die physically, He is already VICTORIOUS over my sin. When we pray, like Jesus commanded us to "Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven", for the christian, this is the case. We're already forgiven, we are no longer sinners in Daddy's eyes, the Kingdom is here, and I want to see more of it. The weight has already gone from you and me because He lets us receive the kingdom here on earth. Glory falls now, miracles happen now, Jesus saves now. And this excites me so much and i must take it to China with me!
He took me up in the spirit yesterday and gave me many exciting things, lyrics, pictures and seriously cool prophetic words for my life. I want to share the bit that was most applicable to my trip this summer.
"My daughter, I will fill your hands with jewels to take, portions of me, precious gifts to anoint and bless the orphan, those I treasure. They will multiple in your hands the more you sprinkle them on the heads of others. I bring real jewels of healing, that will magnify My glory further, they are significant and to be spread. They are not the things this world can give. They are from My Kingdom, to be released.
SPRINKLE MY JEWELS. I give them to you to manage daughter.
Nourish those that need me.
Excite those that yearn for me and know me.
Love those who can't see I'm there. Place jewels from the Kingdom in their lives.
Seek me in all parts of your heart.
Give me the parts you don't like.
I am the complete product, the necklace that adorns your body." it went on for ages, but thats the cut down version!
- how amazing is it that the creator of the universe wants to use people like you and me to go be the hands and feet of Jesus, to live out a very alive gospel, and to see the transforming and incredible power that comes when Holy Spirit is breathing out over a place!
I am desperate to learn more about My Father's character, and its such a cool journey knowing that every single day, He is willing to reveal more and more of His perfect love to me. He keeps chipping away the bits of me that aren't made to glorify him, and instead gives me jewels to bless others! I love being a piece of clay moulded by The potter. (Isaiah 64:8).
This was a ramble to excite YOU to remind you of a very present, very powerful, extremely loving God. The gospel is outrageous. And we've got to take it to the nations. He won't leave us as orphans, He will come to us! (John 14). And as a child of the living God, we get the most incredible inheritance.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honour at the revelation of Jesus Christ."
